Describe your website.

iPhoto ’09 ships with a face recognition feature. Said feature is so ludicrously bad that it shouldn’t have shipped with the application.

This site doesn’t elaborate on iPhoto failing to guess the correct person, but on its many failures to recognize faces at all. After observing this in a few thousand photos I started taking screenshots when iPhoto wrongly considered some non-face part of an image a face. That collection grew quickly and is displayed on the site.

While with a few of the images you can guess why it may be mistaken for a face by a stupid machine, others remain completely mysterious.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

I like Brown & Green as a simple and clean design which stands out due to its colour scheme. It works best with clean sites that aren’t too busy with callouts and pagelets, so it seemed to be a reasonable match here.
