Who is the target audience for your website?
Lovers of classically handmade leather containers will find unique objects with form and function as the prime motivations for their being. Traditional techniques and materials guarantee one-of-a-kind objects that will be your companions for decades. Visitors to the Pender Islands in southwestern British Columbia can be fitted for the Lord and Lady of the Rings custom-built sandals and purchase unique pouches and bags at our summer Saturday Farmers Market.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
Leathersmithe.com is a wealth of historical and modern information about leather tanning, tanneries, and the construction of harness leather sandals, saddle stitched, welt-seamed bags, and pouches.
Tell us a story about this website.
My website seeks to keep alive traditions of West Coast North America custom-made footwear, leathers and tanneries, as well as English harness tool makers long gone from the industry.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I chose the most simple, elegant design. None of the others interest me. I'm showcasing the things I make, not calling attention to the website itself.
