Describe your website.
My website hosts my short stories, blog and essays, along with any fun things I've found along the way. It's a great way to reach new readers and to keep in contact with current ones.
Who is the target audience for your website?
My site is attractive to anyone who wants to have a laugh and isn't afraid to recognize themselves in some of the characters I write about. Much of my early work centers on being a parent.
Tell us a story about this website.
I attended my high school reunion a couple of years ago and was taken by complete surprise when a few of my classmates made comments to me about my essays. I had no idea they were reading my site, but they had stumbled on it somehow and were now quoting my own words back to me!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I chose the design I'm using because I wanted a clean, yet fun and inviting 2 column theme.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
On my site, I've integrated my Utterli feed and my Twitter and Facebook status. Also, on my "Fun" page, I've embedded video from YouTube.
