Describe your website.

Village Issues such as decisions of Council (we'll be using a blog here) and environmental issues that interest me.

Local weather is archived for the previous 8 weeks.

Under construction are papers describing the environment of the village. Presently, I am working on a synopsis of the Oceanography of the region (PDF).

Who is the target audience for your website?

Residents of Nootka Sound

What is the advantage of your website over others?

There are single issue websites which that look at our situation regionally. Weather website, community blog, etc.

Tahsis Issues will consolidate some of this and include other issues related to the environment.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

To arrive at a base design, I purchased several of your online templates. I then mocked up a simple design using one template, then tried each template in succession. I ended up with 3 candidate designs. I let my wife make the final decision.

What techniques did you use to build this website?

I didn't really develop any interesting techniques. It took time, using drag and drop, and the inspector to find visually appealing characteristics for the basic objects: pages, text boxes, photo albums, ...
