Military historians, schools, family historians

What techniques did you use to build this website?

I used inbuilt Mac dictation software to help with the transcriptions of the letters -- it would have taken longer had I typed them from scratch. I spoke, [and] the words just appeared directly into the Sandvox page I was working on. I customised the design colour from blue to khaki, to reflect the colour of the soldiers' uniforms.

This website was created by John Malam of Cheshire, UK. He has also built Salopian Art Pottery using Sandvox.
